Please be advised that we are experiencing intermittent GMail issues affecting Google Mail and Google Chat.

Please note the M system (P7/ Rental system/ AS400) will be unavailibe for all staff globally between the hours below.

CET - 20:00 - 21:00
GMT - 19:00 - 20:00
EST - 14:00 - 15:00
CST - 13:00 - 14:00
MST - 12:00 - 13:00
PST - 11:00 - 12:00

Staff should not attempt to access the system at all during this outage unles notified by a member of the IT Team.

Please speak to your appropriate ServiceDesk for more information.

[COMPLETE] Various Issues Tonight 20:00 20/12/11

Due to the discovery of various underlying system problems some maintenance will be undertaken tonight.

We expect this may affect all systems so please be aware.

[COMPLETE]Generator install and maintenance will be extended until 2pm for power testing

*update* power has been restored and we are bringing the systems backup shortly we are having a few minor issues

[Resolved] Email Problem

[Update 12/07 17:29] This issue is now resolved.

[Update 12/07 10:25] The root issue is now resolved. However some remaining issues are occuring with some servers needing updates. All primary servers have been restored. Secondary servers are in progress. [MS]

[Update 12/07 00:26] This is still ongoing with updates taking much longer than expected. [MS]

[Update 11/07 23:50] Some of our servers are requiring 2 updates to bring them in to line. This is taking additional time. [MS]

[Update 11/07 23:40] The servers are being updated with additional updates during this down time so time to restore may take longer than expected. Stand by [MS]

[Update 11/07 23:33] Fix pack has been applied to Gateway and is now being applied to NotesUK2 and 1. Expect outages. [MS]

[Update 11/07 23:15] I have identified the problem and will be applying Fix Packs to all Lotus Notes Servers throughout the night. Please be aware for some notes instabilities during this period. Users may have noticed prolonged periods of not receiving emails followed by a large influx of emails with the current time. This time change was unavoidable due to the nature of emails. [Resolved] Intermittent Issues

This evening IT will be performing some important reboots. Expect some issues lasting approx 10 mins per server.

There is an issue with the Microlease website affecting all aspects of the portal etc.

NetOps, Jeremey, and the hosting company are all working on this.

Please stand by for more info.

The outage was caused by a faulty switch at our hosting centre and this has now been replaced and all services returned to normal.


As far as we are aware due to the Bank Holidays, that only a very small number of customers may have been affected.
